Our Experience
We have trained over 70,000 students for about 140 different government agencies, commissions and bureaus and many others for a wide variety of corporate clients. We offer about 200 standard training classes and frequently offer custom-designed curricula. We have also designed and built several successful web-based training systems.
Instructors
The foundation of quality training is our training staff. We employ only high-quality, professional instructors. Students evaluate instructors after each class; training managers review instructor performance monthly. To insure quality of instruction every instructor is cross-trained on a variety of subjects; all instructors have access to subject matter experts from MicroAssist's consulting division; all instructors have access to vendor and third-party reference materials.
Courseware
At MicroAssist, we have been training adults since 1988. We understand how adults learn, which is why all of our classes are developed with adults in mind. Our courseware is based on an adult learning model developed by our partner, Element K Press. As the most tested courseware developer in the training industry, Element K is recognized for quality, consistency and a hands-on approach.
Customization
Customized training can help you achieve your organization's training goals more efficiently. MicroAssist will be glad to customize classes for your organization. To give our customers the training they need, MicroAssist has changed the time, length, and curriculum of classes. We have combined curricula from different classes and even created custom curriculum for software. To save time for busy executives, we provide one-on-one training that focuses on their specific knowledge needs and schedules.
Training Site Options
MicroAssist has classrooms fully equipped to give students hands-on experience that will match what they encounter on the job. Our Austin training center classes maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio, so that each person receives the attention they deserve.
We also have the capability to bring our complete training program to your location. On-site programs can offer considerable cost savings.
MicroAssist also has an Executive Training Program that offers key personnel in your organization one-on-one training to meet their specific needs.
Customer Care
MicroAssist staff works hard to ensure the quality of the training experience from selecting the right instructor to teach each class to making sure our class content and schedule accommodates the needs of our customers. To improve the quality of customer care, MicroAssist's web development division has created a training extranet. On this extranet, students and training coordinators can review class schedules, enroll students, check student progress, and run customizable reports.
