MicroAssist has significant technical and cultural experience in using social media and content management tools for distributing information and learning.  We have created sites using Drupal, WordPress, DotNetNuke, Pligg, and Redhat CMS. 

Drupal

Drupal LogoMicroAssist created the site for Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board using Drupal.  This fully templated and content management site allows for multiple users to edit the site, features a sophisticated template that manages the look and feel of the site, allows for event, link, and document management.

WordPress

WordPress LogoMicroAssist created:

  • AroundAustin.com:  Around Austin was created to provide information and photos about our favorite city.
  • Gizmohound.com:  Gizmohound provides news and review of the latest gadgets and gizmos.
  • 508Elearning.com:  508Elearning was created as a site to collect and disperse resources for an ASTD annual conference.

DotNetNuke

Dotnetnuke LogoAFIS Internet:  AFIS Internet was created for the NEC AFIS Users Group.  It is a members only site with online resources, calendar, documents, and announcements. 

RedHat Content Management System

MicroAssist created and maintains the site for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.  This content managed webiste allows over a 100 authors to maintain over 15,000 web pages.  The TCEQ website is one of the state's busiest websites. 

Pligg

Pligg LogoPligg LogoMicroAssist created IndiaIntell.com for a client that wanted to create a user community built around news stories.  They wanted to allow users to submit news stories and to vote on the stories, they wanted their staff to have editorial approval over stories that got published.  MicroAssist created the site using open source technology.
