Instructor Position

This instructor position requires an IT Instructor with at least two years of classroom training experience. Candidates should be comfortable working and developing within the Windows environments. Applicants should have experience training advanced classes such as .NET, Visual Basic, SQL Server and have a strong knowledge of databases.

ASP/Visual Basic Programmer/Analyst Position

This programmer/analyst position requires experience developing and deploying Internet applications. Candidates should be comfortable working and developing within the Windows environments. Applicants should have experience developing integrated applications using Visual Basic/ASP. Knowledge of developing in a SQL Server environment is required. Knowledge of HTML, IIS, Internet security practices will be helpful.

Senior Software Engineer

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for designing and testing program logic, coding programs, program documentation, and preparation of programs for computer operations.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and installs modified and new programs.
Creates E-learning applications for customers
Ensures established release timelines are met in a timely manner.
Determines problem and corrective action necessary to resolve problems related to Web/Internet interfaces.
Monitors production programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems.
Works within specifications provided to meet programming assignment goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains integrity of program logic and coding, and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of computer operating procedures and operating standards.
Assists in studying and analyzing data processing functions, methods and procedures, and makes recommendations concerning the feasibility of revising existing programs or adapting new applications to data processing operations that will more effectively utilize MIS resources.
Produce procedural documentation as required.


Requirements

Good general knowledge of data processing system design methods, techniques and standards.Knowledge and experience with website design in a .NET environment, graphic design, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, database development, relational database design, and database protocols.  Must be able to address HTML and scripting compatibility issues between different browsers and computing platforms.  

Experience in the creation of web-based applications using Microsoft tools & technologies such as IIS, .NET, C#, SQL Server MTS, Index Server, JavaScript/VBScript,  Knowledge and experience with installing, configuring, maintaining, tuning, analyzing and optimizing websites in the NT environment.  Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects.  Ability to clearly document features, technical specifications, and infrastructure requirements for self-produced technical work and job processes.  Must be able to continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge.

MS or BS in computer science/engineering or related subject with 2 -5 yrs of experience required.
